(DE) 29.03.2025: Mein erster HY-100 Ballon

Am 29.03. habe ich meinen ersten 100g Ballon von Hwoyee gestartet. Der Start verlief sehr gut und erreichte eine maximale Höhe von 27.485m. Der Flug dauerte insgesamt 255 Minuten. Der Fallschirm wurde mit ca. 4m Schnur in den Ballon gelegt und öffnete sich nach dem Platzen des Ballons sehr gut. Der Fallschirm wurde aus sehr dünner PE-Folie gefertigt und bremste mit seinem Durchmesser von ca. 30cm das Gespann bei Aufprall auf ca. 4,5m/s. Durch diese Technik konnte die Gesamtmasse verringert werden.

Es ist leider (noch) nicht möglich, die Werte für diesen Ballon genau zu berechnen, er stieg also mit nur ca. 1,5m/s anstatt 2,5m/s auf. Die Aufstiegsrate sank deutlich, als sich der Ballon seiner maximalen Höhe näherte.

(EN) March 29th, 2025: My first HY-100 Balloon

On March 29th, 2025 I launched my first 100g balloon from Hwoyee. The launch went really well and reached a maximum altitude of  27,485m. The complete flight took 255 minutes. The parachute and around 4m of string were put into the balloon. The parachute which was around 30cm in diameter opened perfectly fine after the balloon burst. It was made from very thin PE foil and slowed the payload down to around 4.5m/s as it touched down. Using this technique, the total mass can be reduced.

It is sadly not (yet) possible to calculate the important values for the HY-100 which is why it ascended with 1.5m/s and not with the calculated 2.5m/s. The ascent rate slowed down noticeably as it approached peak altitude.
